Patil unfurls flag in Aurangabad on Maharashtra Day
Aurangabad, May 1 (UNI) State finance minister Jayant Patil hoisted the flag at the police headquarter grounds here on the occasion of the 48th Maharashtra Day celebrations.
Squads from the Maharashtra Police Academy, city and rural police and home guards participated in a parade held on the occasion.
District collector Sanjiv Jaiswal, divisional Commissioner Sanjaykumar, Zilla Parishad CEO, Special IGP Prabhat Ranjan, city Mayor Vijya Rahatkar and local MLAs Rajendra Darda and Kalyan Kale were also present on the occasion.
Police, revenue department officers and sportspersons were felicitated at the hands of Mr Patil.
