Panic exists after eve teasing incident in Ferozabad

Ferozabad, May 1 (UNI) Panic gripped the district, following an eve teasing incident that led to a severe clash and firing between two groups of people today.

According to police, some youths eveteased a girl on the way to her college in police station southern area.

However, when the victim's family barged into the houses of the accused, they escaped.

Later, the issue snowballed and the two groups resorted to stone pelting and firing.

Six people were wounded in the violence and had been admitted to hospital.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police (SP) Vijay Shankar Singh said the situation has been brought under control and posse of police garrisoned to avoid any fresh violence.

Police has registered a named FIR against three accused and launched a hunt to nab them.
