Man shot dead, tension in Kalinganagar
Bhubaneswar, May 1 (UNI) Tension prevailed in Kalinganagar industrial area of Jajpur district today after a man was shot dead.
Kalinganagar Police Station Inspector in Charge K C Mundu said the man was killed after the personal security staff of one Arbin Singh fired at a group of people of Baligothar village.
The security personnel fired after the villagers assaulted and injured Mr Singh. The villagers also tried to take away Mr Singh with them but were prevented by the security personnel.
The reason behind the assault was not yet known. Police investigation was on.
