Impact of CRR hike to be visible in a week

New Delhi, May 1: Regarding the recent CRR hike, new CII President K V Kamath today said liquidity and interest rates are easy, and the actual impact of the hike will be visible in a week or two.

''Liquidity and interest rates are easy and at least seven-15 days are needed to see the impact of CRR hike,'' Mr Kamath told reporters here. On Tuesday, RBI raised cash reserve ratio (CRR) by 25 basis points to 8.25 per cent.
