Girl upset over exam results, jump to her death
Kapurthala, May 1 (UNI) Apparently upset over her poor performance in the matric examinations, Gurjit Kaur today allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a 150 feet high water tank situated in the Rail Coach Factory.
According to police, the 16-year-old girl, upset that she could not do well in her matric examinations, left her house in the RCF colony in the early hours today, climbed up the water tank and jumped off to her deat.
Her body was noticed by the milk vendor later in the morning.
Police has registered a case in this connection.
