Cong has no issues to seek votes from electorate: Ananthkumar

Bangalore, May 1 (UNI) BJP General Secretary and Lok Sabha member Ananthkumar today termed that Congress had gone bankrupt on ideologies and was indulging hurting the sentiments of majority Hindus living in the country.

Addressing newspersons here he took strong exception to the statement of AICC spokeperson and CWC member Veerappa Moily that during Babri Masjid demolition Ram sewaks had looted jewels and idols.

He said that the UPA government, which had questioned the very existence of Lord Rama, had submitted an affidavit before the Supreme Court and withdrew it abruptly on the controversial Ramsethu issue. "Congress has lost faith both on Mahatma Gandhi and his concept of Ram Rajya," he said.

Expressing confidence that BJP will come back to power on its own strength in Karnataka, Mr Ananthkumar said his party would seek votes on three planks -- good Governance, stability and development.

He also reiterated his charge that Congress, JD(S) and SP were working on tacit understanding with a single agenda to defeat BJP.
