Chaturvedi unfurls flag in Nagpur on Maharashtra Day
Nagpur, May 1 (UNI) Minister for Textiles Satish Chaturvedi, who is also Guardian Minister for Nagpur district, hoisted the national tricolour on the occasion of the 48th Maharashtra Day celebrations at the historic Kasturchand Park ground here today.
Mr Chaturvedi also inspected a guard of honour. Squads from the Nagpur City and Nagpur district Rural Police, as well as the Fire Brigade of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) participated in a parade held on the occasion.
Police, revenue department officers and sportspersons were felicitated at the hands of Mr Chaturvedi.
