Chargesheet against Patna Planetarium Director
Patna, May 01 (UNI) The Bihar vigilance bureau today submitted a chargesheet against the project director of Patna Planetarium for misappropriation of public fund.
The chargesheet was submitted against the planetarium's incarcerated project director Dr Vikash Chandra Kumar in the court of special vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar under the various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act and Indian Penal Code.
But, the congnizance could not been taken under the Prevention of Corruption Act in absence of pre-requisit sanction for prosecution.
The case was related to the misappropriation of the fund generated through fee charged for the extra time, from the organisers of exhibitions in the lobby of the premises by the officials of planetoraum under a criminal conspiracy.
