Central assistance to Nagaland, Rajasthan under PMGSY
New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) The Ministry of Rural Development has sanctioned Rs 20 crore to Nagaland and Rs 104.54 crore to Rajasthan under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
The amount has given to Nagaland as part payment of the second instalment of Phase-V of PMGSY and will be received by the autonomous Nagaland State Rural Roads Development Authority.
An amount of Rs 104.54 crore has been sanctioned to the Rajasthan government as partial payment of first instalment for Phase-VII as Grant-in-Aid for 2007-08 of PMGSY. The amount will be received for the programme by an autonomous body, Rajasthan Rural Roads Development Authority (RRRDA).
Both of the agencies will maintain separate account for this grant and submit utilisation certificate and audit reports for the amount already released and amount being released now, to claim further amount due.
The grant is towards plan expenditure and is subject to the provisions of PMGSY programme guidelines and supplementary directions issued there under.
