AP Governor condoles demise of Nirmala Deshpande

Hyderabad, May 1 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari today condoled the death of well-known Gandhian and Rajya Sabha Member Nirmala Deshpande.

In a message here Tiwari said "Nirmalaji was a staunch follower of Gandhian principles and espoused the cause of peace and communal harmony for more than 60 years".

"All through her life Nirmala Ji, fought for social justice and equality, and served as a Good Samaritan of the downdrodden. May her soul rest in peace", he added.
