2 hurt in firing by robbers in Maharashtra

Nashik, May 1: Two persons were injured when robbers fired upon them at Adgaon in Panchavati area here late last night.

Four miscreants attacked Ramesh Chardiyua (26) in his Dhatrak Phata residence past midnight. The robbers stole a mobile handset worth Rs 4,500. The armed robbers then fired two rounds injuring Ramesh and his sister Jayshree (22), police said.

Both the injured have been admitted to the district civil hospital.

Police suspect that Ramesh, who is a labour contractor, might have been attacked because of personal or professional rivalry.
