Teenagers drown in canal

Noida, Apr 30 (UNI) Two teenagers, who had entered a canal for a bath here this afternoon, drowned.

The body of one of the victim was fished out by police divers.

Sheenu and Shivanand, both 13 and students of a Dadri school near here, had stopped by a canal in Khatena village for a bath. But a strong undercurrent swept them away.

PAC divers were pressed into service in the evening who managed to fish out the body of Shivanand.

Villagers were using flashlights and torches to trace the body of the other boy.
