Stern action against rebels: Congress

Mangalore, Apr 30 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member B Janardhan Poojary today warned of stern action against those who contest against the party's official candidates in next month's elections to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

Addressing a press conference here, he asked the rebel candidates to withdraw their nominations and work for the success of the official candidates.

Mr Poojary said the party would keep a close watch on the work of leaders and workers during elections and if anyone was found not working sincerely, they would attract disciplinary action.
