Spice Communications posts Rs 36.50 cr net loss in Q1

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) Mobile operator Spice Communications today said it has posted a net loss of Rs 36.50 crore for the first quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 14.66 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

However, the total income has increased 38.57 per cent to Rs 309.66 crore for the first quarter ended March 2008 from Rs 223.46 crore in the same period a year ago, a statement said.

Currently, the company provides mobile service in Karnataka and Punjab.
