Bangalore, Apr 30(UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall(cm): Holenarsipura, T Narsipura, Hassan, Bangalore Airport 3 each, Yelandur, M M Hills, Srirangapatna, Kunigal, Mysore 2 each, Madapura, Arkalgud, Arsikere, C R Patna, Bandipura, Channapatna, Chamarajnagara 1 each.

Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka, however below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.7 Degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka, Mainly dry weather will prevail over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka.
