MTNL Q4 net up 8.50% at Rs 219.92 cr
New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) State-owned Mahanagar Telepone Nigam Limited (MTNL) today said its net profit increased 8.50 per cent at Rs 219.92 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 compared to Rs 202.69 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago.
The total income jumped 5.25 per cent to Rs 1463.55 crore from Rs 1390.47 crore in the said period.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 507.32 crore for FY08 as compared to Rs 466.03 crore in the previous fiscal, a jump of 8.85 per cent.
The total income has decreased 3.13 per cent to Rs 5,407.84 crore from Rs 5,582.84 crore in the said period.
