MPs to enjoy 4-day long weekend
New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) Members of Parliament will have a prolonged weekend till Monday.
Tomorrow being the May Day, and the sitting on May 2 having been cancelled, the members will have a four-day weekend.
However, putting at rest all speculations for early adjournment of the Budget Session of Parliament, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vyalar Ravi said the Business Advisory Committee of the Lok Sabha had already fixed its agenda till May 9, when the session was scheduled to end.
Notwithstanding the Minister's statement, rumours persisted that Parliament would not sit till its schedule in view of the Karnataka Assembly elections in May.
