Kanpur traders support BJP for nation wide strike

Kanpur Apr 30 (UNI) Traders of the industrial city have joined hands with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for nation-wide strike against price hike on May 2.

While talking to newsmen, Kanpur unit BJP president Dinesh Bhadoria today said here ''BJP has called a nation-wide strike to protest the sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities. A procession will move all over the city tomorrow to seek support for the strike.'' Making a scathing attack on the Congress, he said the UPA Government at the Centre has failed to check price rise.

Government should control the runaway inflation or should step down, the BJP leader asserted.
