Jindal Saw net up 21.56 pc at Rs 85.40 cr

New Delhi, Apr 30: Steel producer and exporter Jindal Saw today said its net profit has increased 21.56 per cent to Rs 85.40 crore for the first quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 70.25 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. However, its total income for Q1FY08 has decreased 24.93 per cent to Rs 955.06 crore from Rs 1,272.27 crore in the same period a year ago, a company statement said.
