Indian Ambassador to Nepal presents credential to PM Koirala
Kathmandu, April 30 (UNI) Five ambassadors, including Indian ambassador Rakesh Sood, submitted their letters of credential to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at his office in Singhdurbar today.
Mr Koirala, who is also the head of the state, received credential letters from newly appointed ambassadors to Nepal from India, Afghanistan, Iceland, Sweden and the Czech Republic at State Hall in Singha Durbar.
Mr Sood, who arrived here in the capital last week to replace former ambassador Shiv Shanker Mukherjee has already met Prime Minister Koirala and some leaders before submitting his letter of credential.
Mr Sood was India's Permanent Representative to the UN Conference on Disarmament in Geneva. He had also worked as India's deputy chief of mission in Washington.
