HUDA to remove all illegal encroachments in Panchkula

Chandigarh, Apr 30 (UNI) Haryana Minister of State for Forests and Tourism Kiran Choudhry today directed the officials of Haryana Urban Development Authority to remove all illegal encroachments in Panchkula within this month.

She gave these directions while presiding over a District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting convened at Mini Secretariat, Panchkula.

She said all the illegal encroachments should be removed in the district on priority basis and only those should be spared who had taken stay orders from the court.

The Minister also distributed tool kits and sewing machines to the beneficiaries of Golden Jubilee Urban Employment Scheme.

Ms Choudhry lauded the efforts of Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Rajnder Kataria for showing extraordinary presence of mind in extinguishing the fire in Morni recently.
