Hindalco Industries net stands at Rs 1,077 cr for FY08

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) Hindalco Industries Ltd, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, today said its net profit stood at Rs 1,077 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2008, against Rs 721.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total income has increased to Rs 5,154.40 crore for the same period from Rs 4,872.20 crore during the same period a year ago, a statement said.

The company's net profit for the year ended March 2008 was Rs 2,860.90 crore, as compared to Rs 2,564.3 crore for the year ended March 2007.

The total income is Rs 19,693.90 crore for the year ended March 2008 from Rs 18,683.10 crore for the year ended March 2007.
