Headmaster held for accepting bribe
Patna, Apr 30 (UNI) The state vigilance bureau today caught a headmaster of Daudnagar middle school in Aurangabad district red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000.
Bureau ADG Neelmani here said Ramchhabila Ram, a primary school teacher posted at the district's Jalalpur area had complained to the bureau that Akhileshwar Kumar, the headmaster of Daudnagar middle school, who had sanctioned the payment for Jalalpur primary school, was demanding a bribe of Rs 2,000 to clear his due payments.
The bureau laid a trap and arrested the headmaster at the time of accepting the bribe.
He will be produced before the special vigilance court in Patna tomorrow, the ADG added.
