Dharmadhikari, Padgaonkar to get Maharashtra bhushan award
Mumbai, Apr 30 (UNI) Veteran Spiritual and eminent worker in the field of education and health Narayana Vishnu Dharmadhikari and veteran poet Mangesh Padgaonkar have been selected for the prestigious 'Maharashtra Bhushan Award'.
Both of them will receive the awards on November 25, on the death anniversary of late Chief Minister Yashwantrao Chavan.
The selection was made by a committee, headed by Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.
The award carries Rs five lakh in cash, a citation and a memento. Many persons like P L Deshpande, Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ratan Tata and others have been conferred with the award in the past.
