Congress to win all bypoll seats on issue of development:CM
Ambala, Apr 30 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that Adampur constituency never belonged to former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal but was the Congress citadel and the party candidates would win all three seats in the bye-elections. Mr Hooda, who was interacting with media persons at Ambala said that Congress Party would fight bye election on the issue of overall development being done in the State and get the votes from the people on the basis of achievements which were being made in all sectors during the last three years.
He said that Congress candidates were getting full support from public and he himself would present at the time of filing nominations by Mr Ranjit Singh at Admapur, Mr Bhim Sen Mehta at Indri and Mr Jangbir Singh Malik at Gohana on May first, in morning on May 2 and afternoon on May 2 respectively.
Mr Hooda also had a lunch at his favourite dhaba of yesteryears owned by Pandit Ram Kishan at Railway road, Ambala City.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana was on 14th position in per capita investment but as a result of the developmental works being carried out during the last three years, it reached at number one position in per capita investment.
Mr Hooda blamed that the development in Haryana was in slow pace prior to their government and said that during the regime of his government not only increase the pace of development but also achieved the number one position in each and every sector through out the country.
Mr Hooda said that after the inception of Haryana, no government had cared to find the solution of electricity problem in the State but his government had taken many steps to overcome the electricity crises in the State.
He said that all out efforts were being made to provide maximum electricity to the consumers and electricity on subsidized rates were also being provided.
Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Phool Chand Mullana and others were also present on the occasion.
