Cognizant in Fortune 1000 listing

Chennai, Apr 30: Cognizant, a leading provider of global consulting, technology and business process services, today announced it has been named to Fortune Magazine's prestigious Fortune 1000 listing. Fortune 1000 was a list of the 1000 largest American companies, ranked on revenues by the American business magazine.

The report appears in Fortune magazine's May five, 2008 issue, a company release here today said. Cognizant's revenue for 2007 was 2.136 billion US Dollar. Based on this, the Company was listed at number 859.
