CII elects K V Kamath president for FY09

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today elected K V Kamath, Managing Director and CEO, ICICI Bank as the president of the body for the year 2008-09.

Mr Kamath will assume office as the new president of the industry association on May 1, 2008. He succeeds Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal.

Mr Venu Srinivasan, Managing Director, Sundaram-Clayton Ltd has been elected as the vice president of CII for current financial year.
