Case registered against BJP candidate

Gulbarga, Apr 30 (UNI) Election officials registered a case against Bharatiya Janata Party candidate M Y Patil in Afzalpur today for violating election code.

Official sources said that Mr Patil violated the election code by taking out a procession and a case was registered under Openspace Disfigurement Prevention Act.

The candidate also used party flags against instructions by the election officials.
