Black marketeer arrested in Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu, Apr 30 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested one black marketeer of kerosene oil in Doda district, official sources said.
Based on specific information, police launched a search operation and arrested one Farooq Ahmed, resident of Malsoo, Bhaderwah from Amira Nagar, for illegally selling kerosene oil to pick-up van drivers.
''He was arrested along with 20 litres of illegal kerosene oil, which was being sold to the local shopkeepers,'' police sources told UNI, adding that a case under section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act (ECA) has been registered against the accused.
