BJP to take action against rebel candidates

Bangalore, Apr 30: BJP Karnataka President D V Sadananda Gowda today said the party has asked the district units to send a detail report about the rebel candidates by tomorrow to take necessary action against them.

Talking to reporters here, he said a substantial number of rebel candidates, violating the party order, were contesting against the officials candidates in the next month's Assembly polls.

The party would take strict action against all the rebel candidates by tomorrow, he said.

Earlier, party General Secretary H N Anantkumar released cassettes sung by Kannada singer C Ashwat on the failure of UPA government at the Centre, betrayal by JD(S) and the achievement of BJP in the state.
