BJP to observe nationwide 'Bandh' on May 2
Jammu, Apr 30 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party would organise a nationwide ''Bandh'' on May 2, to protest against the economic policy of the Congress-led UPA government which has led to a steep rise in the prices of all essential commodities, including food items and vegetables.
In a statement issued here, the BJP state unit today said the UPA government to control the price or quit if it is incompetent to provide two times meal to the people.
However, the BJP has appealed all the trader organisations and people across Jammu and Kashmir to make the proposed 'Bandh' a grand success and to break the anti-people nexus between the politicians-bureaucracy-big industrial houses.
