5 bombs seized from Barabanki court

Barabanki, Apr 30 (UNI) Panic gripped the Barabanki court, following the recovery of five countrymade bombs from the court precincts today.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Pravin Kumar said the bombs were revovered from a plastic bag lying in the court compound this afternoon.

Prima facie, the bombs seem to be countrymade. However, Anti-terrorist Squad from Lucknow is detecting them, Mr Kumar added.

On November 23 last, contemporaneous blasts had rocked the court permises of Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad, killing 13 people and grievously wounding 70 others.
