2 brothers drown in Rapti
Gorakhpur, Apr 30 (UNI) Two teenaged siblings drowned while bathing in the river Rapti at Rampur Ghat of the district.
The incident was reported from Chiluatal area, where Gyanendra (17) and Nitin (15) had gone to take a dip in the river along with their two neighbours yesterday.
While Gyanendra and Nitin were trapped in the whirlpool, others managed to swim out safely, police today said.
The duo were students of standard X1 and X.
The Bodies had been fished out and sent for post-mortems.
