15 Sri Lankan fishermen detained

Chennai, Apr 30 (UNI) Fifteen fishermen from Sri Lanka were detained by the Coast Guard when they were found fishing in Indian territorial waters last night.

The fishermen had inadvertently drifted into the Indian side and were detained by the Coast Guard.

Police said they were later brought to Chennai city and handed over to the Harbour Police for further action.
