School lecturer feared drowned after accident in HP
Shimla, Apr 29 (UNI) A school lecturer was feared drowned after his car fell into Satluj River in Shimla district this afternoon, police sources said.
Hardayal Kaundal, lecturer with Jhakhri Senior Secondary School, was feared drowned after the car, he was driving, fell into the river near Jhakhri at 1630 hrs this afternoon, the sources told UNI here.
The sources said the rescue operations launched soon after the accident helped in retrieving the car, while search was still continuing for his body.
The cause of the accident was, however, not immediately known, the sources said, adding that a case had been registered and investigations were on.
