Orientation programme for foreign job seekers

Kozhikode, Apr 29 (UNI) Kerala Labour Minister P K Gurudasan today said orientation programmes would be launched in all districts for imparting training to those who sought employment abroad.

Inaugurating the Malabar Tech fest here, he said though the state was far ahead in education, it lacked in technical skills.

The programme would provide basic skills for those who aspired for jobs abroad, he said.

He also said 48 ITIs would be launched in the state.

The Local Bodies had agreed to provide land for setting up the ITIs, he added.
