Lok Adalat settles another 184 cases in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 29 (UNI) A Lok Adalat in the Kashmir valley has settled 184 cases of different nature, which were pending for the past several years.
An official spokesman said the Lok Adalat was held at Pampore in south Kashmir district of Pulwama where a large number of people had gathered to settle down their pending cases amicably.
He said the adalat took up 195 cases of different nature out of which 184 were settled amicably among the parties.
A fine of Rs 24800 was also recovered from the parties, he added.
Officials said thousands of cases were settled amicably among the parties in all parts of the state through these Lok Adalats since January this year.
