DGP reviews poll preparations

Itanagar, Apr 29 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Director General of Police Ajay Chadda reviewed the law and order situation of all the districts in view of the May 26 three-tier panchayat election.

At a meeting with senior officers here yesterday, he assessed the pre and post poll arrangements, including those of the sensitive polling stations.

He also discussed necessary requirement and mobilisation of forces besides, other logistic support, official sources said.

The DGP also dwelt on the guidelines and instructions issued by the Election Commission.
