Congress to launch agitation against NDA
Patna, Apr 29 (UNI) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) today said the party would launch statewide agitation from April 30 to protest the inaction of Nitish Kumar government against the hoarders.
BPCC chief spokesman Kripanath Pathak said the party would organise dharna before all the 38 district headquarters on April 30 throughout the state.
In the second phase of agitation dharna and other agitational programmes would be organised before all the 539 block development offices of the state, he added.
''No stern action had been taken against the hoarders since the Nitish Kumar government assumed power in November 2005,'' he said adding that the state government's reluctance to go tough against the hoarders was mainly responsible in the increase of prices in esssential commodities in the state.
