Three killed in accident in north Bihar

Patna, Apr 28 (UNI) Three people were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck on National Highway 28 at Bhawanpur Chowk in Muzaffarpur district of north Bihar tonight.

Official sources said the accident occurred when the truck driver lost control and dashed against the motorcycle from behind.

All the three died on the spot.

The deceased were returning to their village from Samastipur.

The bodies had been sent for post-mortem.

However, none could be arrested as both driver and helper of the truck fled immediately after the accident.

The vehicle was seized.
