Science Express in MP
Indore, Apr 27 (UNI) In order to inculcate scientific temper among youth, the 16-coach Science Express being run under the joint venture of India and Germany, is entering Madhya Pradesh's Ratlam district tomorrow.
The train is flaunting all new scientific discoveries from those relating to an 'atom' to the 'universe'.
The Express would halt for a day at Ratlam and proceed to Indore's Lakshmibai Nagar Station on April 30 where it will halt for four days. On May 3, it would head for Bhopal's Habibganj Station and stop there from May 4 to 8. Later, it would move to Gwalior Station and would stop there till May 13.
''The Science and Technology Ministry and Germany's Max Planck Society have endeavoured to increase scientific awareness among youth,'' said Madhya Pradesh Science Centre Convenor Archana Sharma.
The train started from Delhi's Safdarjang Railway Station on October 30 to touch 57 cities of 21 states over nine months.
