Notification for Hamirpur bye election issued
Shimla, Apr 28 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manisha Nanda today said that Election Commission of India had issued notification to conduct bye-election for Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency.
Ms Nanda said with this the process of filing nominations had started and last date for filing nominations would be May 5.
''Scrutiny of nominations would be done on May 6 and last date for withdrawal of candidature is May 8. Polling would be held on 22nd May with the Counting of votes that would be done on 25th May and election process will be completed by May 27'' she added.
