Indiabulls Securities posts 40.77% hike in net at Rs 53.44 cr

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) Indiabulls Securities Ltd (ISL) today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 increased 40.77 per cent to Rs 53.44 crore as compared to Rs 37.96 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.

The company said in a statement that its total revenues for the quarter grew 47.39 per cent to Rs 160.28 crore as against Rs 108.74 crore in the same period last fiscal.

Indiabulls net profit for the year ended March 31, 2008 increased 83.25 per cent to Rs 251.77 crore as compared to Rs 137.39 crore for the last fiscal.

Its total revenues for FY08 increased 46.8 per cent to Rs 620.72 crore from Rs 422.83 crore last fiscal.

The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting has recommended a dividend of Rs 7.5 per share.
