Independent aspirant first to file nomination in Hamirpur
Hamirpur, Apr 28 (UNI) The process for the by election to Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat started today with Amin Chand, an independent candidate, filing his nomination papers to contest the election.
Amin Chand filed his papers in the office of Nandita Gupta, who is also the Returning Officer for the Hamirpur seat.
By-election, if necessary, will be held on May 22nd and counting will take place on May 25 and the result will be announced by evening the same day.
