Cancer patient commits suicide in hospital

Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) A terminally ill 45-year-old man today jumped to his death from the eighth floor of the Bombay Hospital here this evening.

According to police, Hira Patil was admitted to the hospital and was undergoing treatment for blood cancer.

However, the Kalyan resident, despite the treatment, was not showing sign of improvement and was depressed.

Police said Patil jumped to his death this evening. The Azad Maidan police has registered a suicide case.
