Andhra Prof to attend Global Historians meet in China

Hyderabad, Apr 28 (UNI) Osmania University History professor A Satyanarayana has been invited to present a paper at the first Asia-Pacific Association of Global Historians to be held in Beijing from May one to five.

According to a release here, Mr Satyanarayana would present a research paper on 'Globalisation and the Telugu Diaspora in South-East Asian countries, 19th to 20th Century'.

The paper would deal with the socio-economic conditions of three generations of Telugus in the South East Asian countries in the context of modern globalisation.

Mr Satyanarayana was presently writing a monograph on the history and culture of Telugus abroad.
