Two canter drivers killed in collision

Sangrur, Apr 27 (UNI) Two canter drivers were killed on the spot while one person was seriously injured today after their vehicles had a head-on collision at Bhawanigarh-Samana road near village Thhamman in this district, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Kuldeep Singh who was taking pipes from Samana to Bhagtabhai Ke in Bhatinda and Rajinder Singh of Malerkotla, who was driving an empty canter from the opposite side.

Rajinder's son Joginder was seriously injured in the collision and was rushed to the local hospital, from where he has been referred to Patiala civil hospital.

The police was investigating the case.
