Train-van collision claims 5

Raipur, Apr 27 (UNI) Five people, including two children, were killed on the spot and four injured when their van collided with a locomotive at the unmanned Borid railway crossing on the Raipur-Visakhapatnam rail route today, police said.

The deceased were identified as Kuki Sahu (2), Pranjal Sahu (3), Rashmi Sahu (27), Meenakshi Sahu (28) and Mokshukumari Sahu (35).

The injured were admitted to the local Ambedkar Hospital. The city-resident Sahu family members were en route to a wedding.
