One died, another injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 27 (UNI) A driver was killed and a six-year-old wounded while a cowshed was gutted in the Kashmir Valley overnight, official sources said.

They said a truck skidded off the road and fell in river Jehlum at Uri, resulting in the death of driver Mohammad Allayas Khan.

Efforts were on to fish out the body, they added.

A six-year-old Danish Ahmad Shah was injured afer he was hit by a vehicle at Zaloora in central Kashmir district of Badgam. He was hospitalised.

A cowshed was gutted in a devastating fire at Kokernag in south Kashmir.
