Man burnt alive in fire

Lucknow, Apr 27: A man was charred to death and five houses were gutted in a fire in Banthara area here today.

Ramdhar (42) was burnt alive, when the fire broke out in his house, while he was fast asleep, police said.

The raging fire also engulfed nearby four houses.

Several livestocks were also reportedly killed in the incident.

However, villagers managed to extinguish the fire.
